    The JAYCO SDAF Series Bearing Housings are extra heavy-duty, horizontally split plummer blocks designed for large shaft diameters, severe shock loads, and continuous industrial operation under extreme conditions. Developed as a robust complement to the SAF Series and optimized for metric shaft applications, the SDAF Series delivers superior strength, stability, and long service life in demanding environments.

    These housings are widely used in steel plants, cement industries, mining operations, crushers, bulk material handling systems, and heavy-duty conveyor installations where reliability under high impact and vibration is essential.

    Split Housing Design

    • Horizontally split cap and base for easy assembly and maintenance

    Axial Location & Bearing Arrangement

    • Provision available for locating rings for axial positioning
    • One or two locating rings can be used depending on application requirements

    Lubrication System

    • Standard grease lubrication system
    • Grease nipple provided on top for easy relubrication
    • Optional oil lubrication system available on request
    • Drain plugs provided on both sides at the base for removal of contaminated grease

    Custom large-size SDAF housings (e.g., SDAF 23196) can also be developed on request for specialized applications.

    • Graded Cast Iron FG 220 as per IS 210
    • Cast Steel Grade 280–520 as per IS 1030
    • SG (Ductile) Iron Grade 400/15 as per IS 1865
