    Product Description

    The SN 500 & 600 Series Plummer Block Housings are designed with a simple, rugged, and durable construction, making them ideal for applications operating under moderate load and speed conditions. Manufactured from high-quality FG 220 graded cast iron as per IS 210, these housings provide dependable performance, easy maintenance, and long service life in standard industrial environments.

    The housing features a reinforced structural design with two strengthening ribs in the base cavity and one rib on the top cap to improve overall rigidity and operational stability. Its horizontally split construction allows convenient bearing installation, inspection, and maintenance without disturbing the shaft arrangement.

    These housings are specifically designed for taper bore bearings mounted on adapter sleeves and support shaft diameters ranging from 20 mm to 170 mm, depending on the series size.

    Bearing Arrangement & Lubrication Features

    • Provision for locating rings available for accurate axial bearing positioning
    • Exclusively designed for grease lubrication
    • Equipped with a grease nipple on the housing top for efficient relubrication
    • Standard felt seals protect bearings and lubricant from dust and external contaminants

    Important Notes

    • No drain hole provision available
    • Not suitable for high-temperature operating conditions

    Series & Bearing Compatibility

    SN 500 Series

    Compatible with bearings mounted using adapter sleeves:

    • 1200K
    • 2200K
    • 22200K

    Additional series such as SN 200, SN 300, and SN 600 are also available. However, for enhanced performance in demanding applications, SNA, SNH, and SNL Series housings are generally recommended.

    All J&J SN Series housings are manufactured in accordance with ISO 113:2010, ensuring complete dimensional interchangeability and international mounting compatibility.
