The JAYCO SD Series Bearing Housings are extra heavy-duty split plummer blocks specifically designed for extreme industrial operating conditions involving very high loads, continuous operation, vibration, and elevated temperatures. Built with significantly reinforced construction compared to SN, SNA, and SNH series housings, the SD Series ensures maximum structural strength, reliability, and extended service life in the most demanding applications.

These housings are widely used in cement plants, steel rolling mills, mining equipment, power plants, paper mills, crushers, conveyors, and heavy material handling systems where operational stability is critical.

• Lock-nut cavity pocket collects used lubricant effectively
• Drain holes and oil level indicator provisions provided for easy maintenance

Sealing Arrangements

The SD Series is equipped with advanced sealing systems for harsh industrial environments:

• TS Labyrinth Seal – standard sealing solution for grease applications
• TER Taconite Seal – ideal for dusty, wet, and highly contaminated conditions
• Rubber O-ring combined with labyrinth sealing allows axial shaft movement due to thermal expansion

End cover options are available for both shaft-end and non-shaft-end configurations.

Dimensional Series

• SD 500 Series – suitable for 22200 CK bearings with adapter sleeves
• SD 600 Series – suitable for 22300 CK bearings with adapter sleeves
